Zero to Chef LLC
Privacy policy
Updated September 27, 2026. This notice describes our public website and the information used by Zero to Chef’s app and support services. Features available to you may vary while the app is in development.
Who we are
Zero to Chef LLC is a Hawaii company developing a personalized cooking application. Contact us at support@zerotochef.com or by mail at 72 Ulupono Street, Ste F, Lahaina, HI 96761, United States.
When you visit this website
You can read the public pages without an account. Our hosting provider processes technical information, such as IP addresses and requests, to deliver and secure the site. The public pages do not submit cooking preferences or create an account. This landing page does not use advertising trackers or take payment.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, provide support, and handle your request. Clicking an email link opens your email provider; a message is sent only when you send it. Asking about early access does not automatically start a subscription.
Information used by the app
When you use app features, information can include account details; the cooking preferences and household information you provide; ingredients, recipes, chats, and notes; and photos you choose to upload. We use this information to provide personalized cooking suggestions, save your content, and support account access and synchronization.
Only share household information you are authorized to provide. Avoid unnecessary medical or other sensitive details. AI guidance is not medical advice.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate the product, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for account and data services, Anthropic for processing requests to Kai, and RevenueCat for subscription-related services when enabled. Information needed for a feature is processed by the relevant provider. AI requests are subject to the provider’s applicable processing and retention practices.
When you choose to share content or open a third-party service, the information you share and that service’s practices determine what others can see. Review what is included before sharing. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect security and legal rights.
Retention and your choices
We retain information as needed to operate the service, respond to requests, meet legal obligations, and address security or disputes. Retention can vary by data type and service provider; backup deletion may not be immediate.
You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Where the app provides account deletion, you can also use that control. We may need to verify identity and may retain information where legally required. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.
Children and household information
The service is intended for adult account holders. Adults are responsible for the household information they enter and for supervising children’s cooking. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account or provided information without appropriate authorization.
Security, location, and updates
We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations. We may update this notice as our services change and will identify its current revision date here.
